The Edward J. Blakely Center for Sustainable Suburban Development is pleased to announce its program of affiliated scholars. The Director may appoint scholars in any of three categories for specific terms. (These titles do not affect other UCR appointments or the academic personnel process.)

Associate: Faculty with an existing UCR appointment who are active in research supported by or conducted through the Center.

Affiliate: Faculty with an existing UCR appointment with research activities related to those of the Center, or otherwise sharing significantly in the Center’s interests and activities.

Fellow: Visitors to UCR, typically but not exclusively from another university, in residence at UCR for a period of time to work on various projects. Fellows enjoy campus library privileges and similar benefits, as well as the support of the Center.
